Folk Magic in Witchcraft and Religio
I'm sorry I didn't take photos of the color photos of amulets and talismans because they are really delightful. This book is packed with historical examples and photos of amulets, talismans, and mascots. it's enough history, but space to apply these concepts to your own practice and to understand the why of it. I also like that the phrase " Folk Magic in Witchcraft and Religion" is used as it shows the two can be different and equally important culturally.
A full-color illustrated exploration of the origins and history of amulets, lucky charms, talismans, and mascots"--
