This volume collects the early days of Truckface, one of my favorite zines of all time. Here we find LB working a variety of customer service jobs on her way to becoming a teacher. She writes about the horrible sexist retail environments she works in, the demeaning customers she is forced to interact with at a natural foods store, and her incredible dance moves that put everyone else to shame. LB's writing is sharp, poignant, angry, and passionate. Zines like Truckface are the reason I love them so much. A necessary part of any zinester's collection. -KA
