Note: At the very beginning of this book the author asks you to take an oath to do no harm and I can't state enough how much I disagree with this statement and the framing of this statement with the inaccurate historic assertions that this somehow pertains to medieval sorcerers and indigenous. The belief that indigenous people are a monolish is such a gross colonialist take I almost don't want to carry this book. However, I've been looking for books that focus on different magical techniques and I do find there to be some redeeming qualities in this book. I just wanted to put my thoughts here. -Alex
