Gramarye #4 by KD Hume

New Gramarye #4 by KD Hume

I really enjoy K.D.'s voice in writing and sharing their life. The theme of this issue is recovery. Recovery from winter, a break up, and life as we wait for the sun to come back. It follows the moon cycle and reflects on journal entries. Sprinkled through out are spells and enchantments for love, seasonal celebrations, a shout out to celebrations of St. Mark's Eve (for you Raven Cycle fans) Walpurisnacht, Beltane.

There's also a discussion of phrases of power and the love for the power of language in spells, a great look at choosing a tarot signifcator (i've joked that mine was the 10 of wands!). I love that the end of this is a portrait of the "witchspirational" Pamela Colman Smith who, if you don't know, is the awesome original illustrator of  Waite Smith tarot deck.
